I don’t know why British people pride themselves for having a great tea culture and for being the origin of the most famous blends for the famous 'British Breakfast' black tea blend. I'm not an expert, but my guess is some things are better arranged by the French. The French breakfast blend is so much more complex, more delicate, so to speak. The light-fruitiness of the Darjeeling leaves, blended with the sweetness and richness of black tea from Yunnan (China).
