Tribute

Indulge yourself with a lovely sweet candy, without the unwanted side effects. A cup of 'Tribute' wil offer you just that! Black tea with a lovely flavor of marzipan (almond paste). It reminds us of our Dutch national celebration 'Sinterklaas' at the beginning of December. Marzipan is a more luxury sweet than most of us know. In the old days marzipan was given during larger festivities (like a marriage) or at Sinterklaas. (Cane)sugar was still a scarse item and therefor quite expensive, what made marzipan to a luxury candy. Nowadays, we enjoy our marzipan all year long.... just like our 'Tribute.'  

Ingredients:    
Black teas (China/Sri Lanka), cocoa shells, pieces of almond *), safflower petals (flavor of marzipan and chocolate).  


 4-5 minutes      85°C (185°F)
