The "Hanami"-festival is a yearly phenomenon in Japan. "Hanami" translates literally to "looking at cherry blossom." It means the start of spring, but also renewal, rejuvenation and the start of new life. Hanami started many centuries ago (between 710 and 794 a.D. in the Nara-period). The fragrant Japanese "sakura" lends itself beautifully for an aromatic green tea with a hint to the land of the Rising Sun.
Green bancha tea (Japan), "sakura" (Japanese cherry blossom), white rose petals.
