O. Bancha 'Arashiyama'
I do enjoy my cup of bancha green tea, specifically the one from the gardens of 'Arashiyama.' Just how extraordinary can a cup of 'ordinary green tea' be? Bancha is harvested from the same bushes as the more refined sencha tea, but usually as a 'second flush' (second pick), and therefor later in the season. This provides for a stronger, more raw smell and notes and gives this green tea a slightly more saltier character than sencha tea. A true splendor for the enthusiast!
Unflavored green tea from Japan.
