Yan Krasnaia

Yan Krasnaia is an aromatic black tea that has its origins in Russian tradition, especially in Siberia, where tea plays an important role in everyday life. The name literally means “red Yan” or “red tea,” with “red” referring to the warm, deep red color of the infusion — a common term for black tea in Russian and Chinese.

What makes this blend special is the combination of strong Chinese black tea with natural aromas of bergamot, spices, and citrus fruits. This composition is not random: in Siberia, people often drank black tea strong, sometimes with sugar or jam, and often flavored with citrus or spices to make the tea fuller and richer. Not only for the taste, but also for its warming effect in cold climates.

Black tea (China), nutmeg, cinnamon, essential oils from bergamot, grapefruit and vanilla, with pieces of peony.
